Information Technology has been started in 2001 and presently running with intake of 60. Department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi in 2012. Department has 12 advanced well equipped laboratories, Seminar Hall, Tutorial halls and experienced dynamic faculties including doctoral faculties. Apart from regular curriculum, excellent results and good placements, department also focuses on strong interactions with industries, Foreign universities, IITs and government departments. Department has advanced facilities such as REDHAT Certification Centre, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Cell, Competitive Exam Cell, Centre of Excellence for Android Project Development, I.T. Online Certification Cell, Department National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) Study center, Open source Lab and many more. As per industry need various value added courses such as android training, Advanced Java training, Big Data, Web development trainings, and Cyber security certification, RED Hat certification and CCNA certifications are conducted in department by industry experts. Under umbrella of the institution department offers Japanese and German language courses. Department regularly organizes industrial visits to reputed industries such as Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) Pune, Reliance Infra Dahanu Mumbai, TCS Innovation Center Nashik, C-DAC Pune, BancBridge Aurangabad, Winjit Technologies Nashik, FinIQ Kothrud Pune, ESDS Nashik, BSNL Ahmednagar and Science Park, Pune.
Electronic engineering colleges
Electronics Engineering was started in 1986 with the intake of 60. The department is accredited two times by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. The department has well qualified and experienced staff to cater the University curriculum. All Laboratories are well equipped with latest software and hardware. Department has 101 computers with latest configuration and necessary peripherals to fulfil the students requirements. The available licensed software are Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007, Xillinx, NI LabView, Matlab, ALTIUM Designer, Mentor Graphics EDA tools and Multisim. Various workshops /seminars/value addition programs in collaboration with industries such as FOX Solutions India Pvt. Ltd, OS3 Technology on VLSI Design, LabView programming, Internet of Things, Matlab programming, PLC and SCADA, Variable Frequency Drives, make your own Mobile, Robotics are organized regularly for SE, TE, BE students.
The department has Electronics Engineering Student Association (EESA) under which different events like GD, Quiz, Circuit Design contest, debate, project exhibition, indoor and outdoor games are organized. Hobby club is established to make the student practically sound and develop their interest by implementing electronic Gadgets for variety of applications. Guest lectures/Seminars on Advancement in Technology, Entrepreneurship development, Competitive Examinations (GATE/GRE/TOFEL), Social awareness/responsibilities, is arranged for the students. The department organises various Technical events on State/National levels every year.
Electronic and telecommunication engineering institutes
Electronics and Telecommunication has taken development as a continuous process and assured this through its mission. A team of dedicated faculty members and staffs are continuously engaged in improving teaching methodsby undertaking faculty development programs and research activities. The Bachelor of Engineering program in E&TC commenced from academic theyear 2000-2001.The current intake of Under graduate is 60 seats. The department of Electronics and Telecommunication offers Post Graduation (ME)in Microwave Engineering since 2011 with current intake of 24 seats. Department is having state of the art well equipped 12 laboratories with various software tools. Department facilitates various value-added courses, association/ professional students branch chapter activities and industrial projects to prepare the students for a career after their Bachelor of Engineering.
