Civil engineering institutes
Civil Engineeringis 3 times accredited with “A” grade by National Board of Accreditationhas well qualified, senior, ambitious and dynamic staff. The department started offering B.E programme in Civil Engineering in the year 1983 with annual intake 60.With increasing in demand from industry the department has increased the annual intake of B.E. programme from 60 to 120 in the year 2012-13. A team of qualified faculty with ample experience is the highlight of the
department. A P.G. Course i.eME Civil (Structures) was added in the year 2007 with an intake of18 and also from 2020-21 Ph.D. research centrehas been established.Both the programmes emphasize on industry standard and research based projects, which would enhance student’s skills to become successful professionals for a holistic development.
The faculty members are having their publications in various refereed/ impact factoredSCI / Scopus journals of Taylor &Francis, Modern Applied Sciences, ASCE, Springer, IEI, Elsevier, etc. The faculty members are contributing as reviewers / referees in the journals of Elsevier, John Willey and Sons, Springer, etc. Faculty members of department are also associated in various kinds of R & D projects at university and AICTE level and received various grants of Rs.40 Lacs so far.
Engineering and science training institute
The Institute was established in 1983 with two undergraduate’s courses Production and Civil departments along with the APPLIED SCIENCE Department as an associated department to provide the basic fundamentals of mathematics and sciences. The department was established with the intake of 120. At present it is known as Engineering Science department and its intake is increased up to of 660. The Engineering Science Department offers Engineering Physics and Engineering Chemistry for first year engineering whereas Engineering Mathematics is for first and second year engineering and for PG. Engineering Mathematics is the backbone of all Engineering disciplines, hencerigorousefforts are taken for Mathematics.
As per the AICTE and SPPU Pune norms the Engineering Science Dept. has 4 Associate Professors and 8 Assistant Professors who are enthusiastic and dynamic with 2 Technical Assistants, committed towards all the departmental activities. The Engineering Science Dept. along with the support of all other Departmental Faculties(FE Common) takes care of 11 divisions containing 60 students each.
Electrical Engineering colleges
Electrical Engineering established in 2012 for undergraduate programme under the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The department runs this programme to cater the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of electrical engineering such as electronics and circuits, Control & Automation, Power systems, Power electronics & Electrical drives. We combine the inclemency of science, the strength of engineering and thrill of discovery. Our faculty and student continue to advance the state-of-the-art, define new direction for electrical engineering and development in technologies. These advancements help to address critical social challenges in medical science, energy and environment.
Quality technical education is provided to the student in the area of Electrical Engineering in order to meet challenges of globalization with the state of art equipment and laboratories computational and audio-visual facilities and good interaction with industry. We have separate Departmental Library having sufficient no. of reference books, text book, E-Books, NPTEL Video lecture, Seminar, project reports . To bridge the gap between Industry and Academic, Department regularly organizes guest lecture, expert lecture, workshop, seminar, value addition course, industrial visit. The department has student association ELESA( Electrical Engineering Student Association) which regularly organizing various activities like group discussion, debate, quiz, aptitude test, poster presentation, spot painting, mock interview for 360 degree development of the students. Also we have student professional chapter of IEEE and IEI . The software available in department are MI Power, P-Spice, MPLAB, MATLAB.
MBA colleges
MBA is an integral part of Amrutvahini College of Engineering, established in academic year 2010 to impart value based education in the field of management science with the aim of creating global leaders and entrepreneurs for the nation.
This is a two-year (Four Semester) full time SPPU, Pune affiliated programme with all prescribed specialization of SPPU. At AVCOE, MBA student’s gains knowledge of business practices & processes, understand the role of economics in the world marketplace, and acquire an awareness of global business issues. MBA program offers practical management training that prepare students to successfully work within organizations & to become entrepreneurs. Centralized placement drive is available. Every year approximately 80-90% students are placed in different companies and organization.
