 I have created unique sequences for practicing traditional yoga. Each yoga session is different, not a set routine. Physical asanas, breathing, and meditation are done in an integrated flow. Students at my yoga studio range from beginners to those who have been coming for over ten years.

 

I teach all yoga classes myself. Each student’s needs are addressed individually. I demonstrate everything by doing the full yoga practice myself along with the students, and showing variations suitable for different needs and skill levels.

Each yoga session is different. I prepare every session to be a new and special experience. All my classes encompass asanas, often with special variations, pranayama (yogic breathing), and meditation.

I have choreographed several unique yoga sequences set to music that I often incorporate in my teaching. I have my own curated selection of music from around the world that harmonizes with yoga.

 

My studio provides a comfortable environment with full power back-up, air conditioning, mineral water, freshly laundered cotton towels, changing area, and floor to ceiling mirrors.

The three sounds ‘A-U-M’ are symbolic of the three major Hindu deities:

• The Creator- Brahma
• The Sustainer- Vishnu
• The Destructor- Shiva

Observing deep into the symbol of ‘AUM’, one can find a series of curves, crescent, and a dot. The visual representation of ‘AUM’ signifies the states of consciousness and awareness:

• The Bottom curve- The Waking State
• The Middle curve- The Dream State
• The Upper Curve- The Unconscious State or Deep Sleep
