“Predicting the future isn’t magic, it’s artificial intelligence.” – Dave Waters
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI and ML) has transformed our lives. We can’t even think of a day when some sort of AI technology is not assisting us. From spam filters and smart replies in Gmail to mobile banking, Google maps Siri, Alexa, Autonomous Cars , Robotic Vaccum to name a few. AI and ML has not left even a single stone unturned to reach where it is at the moment. Automation that is enhanced through artificial intelligence (AI) is critical to organizations’ ability to compete and survive in the years ahead, according to nearly 400 business leaders recently surveyed by Harvard Business Review. Artificial intelligence isn’t just a prevailing fashion. It’s setting down deep roots. There is an increasing need for intelligent and accurate decision-making across industries. This has led to an exponential growth in the adoption of AI and ML technologies which is likely to remain prevalent in the years to come. By the year 2022 AI-ML market size is likey to $8.81 billion. And, this means that industry will surely need a skilled workforce to build, test and deploy more and more artificial brains around the world. This will help change the world. If you are interested in a career in artificial intelligence, then you’re in the right place. A career in artificial intelligence has variety of fields including private companies, public organizations, education, healthcare facilities, government agencies and the military.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Blockchain
Blockchain is a revolutionary technology that enables peer-to-peer transfer of digital assets without any intermediaries and is predicted to be just as impactful as the Internet. It is a software platform where one can store, send and receive digital cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin. McKinsey Report stated the major developments in the bitcoin industry along-with the reason behind popularity of Blockchain technology. As per IDC’s records, global investments on Blockchain is forecast to reach $11.7 billion in 2022 and will outstrip $3.1Tn by 2030. Blockchain technology has managed to penetrate and transform the primary industry sectors like healthcare, finance, and banking. In future, it will eradicate the role of mediators in several key areas to bring efficiency, transparency and eliminate corruption at the highest level. Many of the Indian banks have already adopted a host of blockchain-based applications such as invoice processing, discounting, eKYC, document authentication, verification using e-signatures, etc. Specialization in Blockchain technology will equip students with key concepts and developments around cryptocurrencies and distributed ledger systems. It will develop a basic understanding of Blockchain technology and the mechanics behind it. It will also include some of the Blockchain use cases in technology, business and enterprise products.
Learning outcomes of this track:
By the end of this course, students will:
- Gain insights about fundamental Blockchain concepts and its underlying mechanism.
- Implement the workflow behind bitcoin and various consensus mechanisms.
- Design and implement smart contracts.
- Develop decentralized applications on the Blockchain.
- Identify and analyse the on-going application models in in

Cloud Computing is considered one of the top five emerging technologies that will have a major impact on the quality of science and society over next 20 years. It provides a way to centralize the setup, implementation, maintenance, and management of integrated computation services to individual and corporate end users.Cloud computing is not just a trendy application that people can use to store their photos and videos online. It is part of a business model that is taking the world by storm. Cloud computing not only changes how so many businesses store and access data, but it is also changing how many of these businesses operate. The worldwide public cloud services market is projected to grow 17.5 percent in 2019 to total $214.3 billion, up from $182.4 billion in 2018, according to Gartner, Inc.Many businesses want to get out of the complexity of managing data centres and instead focus on their core competencies. This means that more and more businesses will adopt Cloud Computing to handle their IT requirements, which gives them the freedom from day-to-day management of IT infrastructure.Cloud computing is helping the society to cope with future problems such as managing big data, cyber-security and quality control. In addition to this, emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, distributed ledger technology, and many other capabilities are becoming available as services through cloud computing.
This specialisation prepares students to understand the emerging technologies of Cloud Computing & Virtualisation, their principles, modelling, analysis, design, deployment, and industry-oriented applications. All major solution architectures and enabling technologies are covered under this program.Students are prepared for technical careers in developing applications and providing services that run on a distributed network using virtualised resources and enables customers to access computing resources as needed.
