IILM has a legacy of excellence in responsible management education since 1993. It has entered the domain of law with five year undergraduate courses of BBA LLB (Hons) and BA LLB (Hons) as well as a one year postgraduate LLM program at IILM University, Gurugram.
IILM Law is a gateway, not just to the legal profession, but also to many leadership roles in society. The overall goal of the program is to educate, train and develop our students, thereby fostering an in-depth understanding of the Laws and the legal profession. It imparts practical training to enhance student’s personal and professional ability to adapt and grow with the changes in the legal environment, and to excel in their chosen fields.
Located at the heart of Gurugram, in close proximity to corporate houses, renowned law firms and the Courts, IILM Law prepares students for their career as a successful lawyer, judge or legal professional. Equipped with the latest technology, campus Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art library, access to online resources like LexisNexis, modern classrooms and a permanent Moot Court facility, the building serves as a vibrant academic hub.
IILM Law focuses on enabling each student to independently analyze, research, synthesize and communicate legal issues. The Campus makes for an exciting and productive community of teachers and students to study, to teach, to write, to debate, to question, to innovate and prepares the students to litigate, to advocate and to pursue the highest ideals of law and justice.

PhD Programme
Program Overview
IILM University offers the PhD regular (Full Time and Part Time) programmes in various subjects offered by School of Management and School of Liberal Arts The programme admits students who have a strong academic background, are highly motivated and who have the intellectual curiosity to undertake original research. The programme prepares students for a career in academia or research positions in Industry.
IILM University has excellent facilities with respect to classroom infrastructure, library, and faculty resources. IILM University faculty members publish actively in scholarly journals and consult with industry personnel. Case writing is actively pursued by faculty and students. Objective of the PhD programme is to generate new knowledge by engaging in cutting-edge research in multi-disciplinary area and to promote academic growth and research excellence in the chosen field. Full Time PhD
The Full time doctoral program will help in expanding scientific knowledge and give scholars an excellent opportunity to be part of the University. At IILM scholars will be challenged to explore novel ideas and find solutions to complex questions and problems.
The minimum academic qualification for admission to the Ph.D. programme is a Master’s or equivalent degree in the relevant subject awarded by a recognized university in India or abroad, with at least an average of 55 to 60 per cent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.5 under the seven-point scale of the University Grants Commission (UGC). In the case of SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/differently-abled candidates, the minimum eligibility is an average of 50 per cent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.0
Part Time PhD

The minimum academic qualification for admission to the Ph.D. programme is a Master’s or equivalent degree in the relevant subject awarded by a recognized university in India or abroad, with at least an average of 55 to 60 per cent with minimum 10 Years of work experience.
IILM provides opportunities to Industry experts to up skill their competencies through PhD programs. Scholarly engagements are designed for working professionals as a part of our PhD programme to gain insight and explore the experience of becoming excellent practitioner-researchers.
They can participate in curriculum preparation, and class delivery to ensure the completion of a cycle, much needed to bring the industry perspective to the class room.

Management
IILM prepares the responsible business leaders to embrace paradigm and disruptive changes happening due to political, regulatory and any other major developments.Rapidly changing business landscape requires young leaders to understand the global economy along with the complexities of an emerging market economy.
IILM University aims at changing the narrative of the role of education, business and society by placing a greater emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration across other schools and businesses with the pedagogy being an optimal mix of case discussions, project work, management games and business simulation exercises.
The curriculum covers core business modules, such as marketing, accounting, economics finance, and entrepreneurship. Modules like personal development programs and career development programs are woven into the curriculum for preparing students for the corporate world.
Pedagogy
Following a blended learning pedagogy IILM has carved a niche for itself in pedagogical innovation and experiential learning opportunities, thereby facilitating in the holistic development of the students. With the objective of inculcating value-based education, the focus is on Student Outreach, Engagement and Achievement.IILM has a rich intellectual capital of highly experienced faculty who engage themselves in continuous teaching, research and knowledge creation and dissemination. The curriculum at IILM is globally benchmarked and there is extensive use of contemporary technology in the classroom. Industry professionals are involved at various stages-from feedback on industry-relevant curriculum, guest sessions, round-tables, seminars, webinars, internship panels and conferences on campus. One of the key reasons for being a preferred choice amongst students is our strong alumni base of 12,000-plus students, who act as role models and inspire the students to build a necessary attitude for success. The curriculum enables students to hone their decision-making skills and allows them to apply their knowledge to worthy ideas.
Master of Business Administration
The course equips graduates with required skill sets such as analytical, decision-making, technical, interpersonal and technological skills. The course is designed to develop a holistic personality in business graduates thus enabling them to succeed as professionals, while at the same time find fulfillment in their personal lives. It is a flexible program of study offering students a balanced approach to management, providing a foundation and advance knowledge across a range of business and management principles. We use Innovative teaching pedagogy like use of simulations, live data, and contemporary readings from Mc-Kinsey, BCG and Stanford. The students are given industry exposures through industry visit and experiential courses.
B Com (Hons)IILM University has introduced commerce major under its progressive liberal arts curriculum which offers core modules and a basket of contemporary electives. The program prepares students who are interested in commerce education for entrepreneurship and professional careers by developing technical competency, independent problem solving and understanding, necessary for the challenges of a career in the creative industries.
