Satilila Charitable Society was founded in 2001 under the Society Act 1860, by a renowned industrialist and philanthropist, Shri. S. L. Vaswani. Under his visionary leadership, the society has today evolved as a premier group of institutions i.e. Skyline Institute of Engineering and Technology and Skyline Institute of Management and Technology.

Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is guided by Prof. J.M. Giri. The department has highly qualified faculty members with IIT/NIT background, having long teaching and industrial experience. The department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
Mechanical Engineering is one of the core and broadest engineering disciplines offering students a wide range of career choice. Its strong and broad technical foundation provides opportunities in both engineering practice and scientific research
The department has been the heart and spirit of this premier institution right from its inception in 2002. On high rating, this department is the Alma Mater of several technocrats based in India and abroad. Being the largest department in terms of strength of students, faculty and technical staff, it has an intake of 300 students. The Mechanical Engineers are taught through a mixture of lectures, laboratory work and projects. They undergo the subjects such as materials science, mechanics of solids, machine design, theory of machines, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and fluid machinery
To meet the R & D requirements, a new laboratory for material science and testing has been developed under MODROBS scheme. Moreover, the department prepares the students to conduct research on composite material. Our students have excelled themselves in various activities and they have been awarded in various projects & competitions held at Greater Noida under the aegis of Takniki Shiksha Manch. Their innovativeness earned them numerous accolades in various newspapers
DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil Engineers play a vital role in building a nation. They are constantly engaged in designing, construction and maintenance of all small to big projects of high rise housing, commercial complexes, hotels; transportation: expressways and roads, railways, airports, metros; water supply and waste management; irrigation and hydropower; ports, jetties and offshore platforms etc to improve quality of human life. It is one of the largest employment sectors in the world. The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the best in the National Capital Region, with highly qualified faculty, some of them with an IIT background in the field of structural engineering, RCC and steel design, soil and foundation engineering, environmental engineering, hydraulics engineering, geo-informatics, transportation and highway engineering. The department has the best laboratory infrastructure with all state of the art equipment and software’s to train students. To enhance the employability of students, the department conducts regular training programs for students on latest software like AutoCad, Solid Works, SSTAD-Pro, MS Project, Primevera etc. The department also provides rigorous and intensive summer trainings to the students at our own project sites (Skyline Infrastructure) besides offering opportunities with other projects, to give them best industry experience. Students are also regularly visit various under construction projects sites; like, buildings, highways, bridges, water supply and sewage treatment plants. The department also provides expert guidance on career selection and opportunities hunting in government and private sector through career counseling and placement activities
DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING

The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members specialized in key areas of Computer Sciences & Engg. such as Compiler Design, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Advanced Computer Networks, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence network security. The department has one of the best infrastructure facilities in this region of NCR. It has state-of-the-art Computer Center with all laboratories having Pentium-IV computers connected on LAN/WAN or stand-alone mode. 20 MBPS internet connectivity is available. The campus is having round-the-clock Wi-Fi facility. The Department is a self - driven proactive nerve-centre, which caters to the ever- growing technology in the sphere of academic, research and training needs of computing concepts, tools and techniques. It encompasses a variety of topics, ranging from abstract analysis of algorithms and formal grammars, to subjects like programming languages, software, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing and Computer Hardware. Our students are performing extremely well in leading organizations. The mission is to shape the students to be innovative, entrepreneurial and capable. DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
Guided by Prof.Karabi Kalita Das, has lots of years of teaching experience in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The Branch is regarded as one of the most dynamic and sought-after branches in the field of engineering. Our well-qualified, experienced and motivated team of professors motivates students to excel in their academics as well as in projects. The department encourages the faculty in research for their academic development. Many faculty members are registered for their Ph.D facilitation the faculty have had their research paper published (about 60 research papers in national/international journals). The faculty has also contributed their work towards writing books, and some of them are under publication. The department prepares students to fulfill the contemporary needs of the industry and for future technological challenges. The students are further trained to use modern software based analytical and design tools. All these contributions empowers the students to comfortably take up any innovative or challenging job relating to design, operation and maintenance of electronic systems, ICs, VLSI design, communications (analog, digital & optical), computer hardware, instrumentation, computer controlled systems, etc. The unflinching academic effort of the faculty has attributed to one student to stand 5th in the University merit list
ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
The department enjoys excellent infrastructure with advanced state of the art laboratories for excellent academic environment. Our qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty members are constantly encouraged to enhance their knowledge and skills. They have recently published 15 papers in the national/international journals of eminence. The department admits 120 students in 1st year. Advanced courses like special electrical machines, power system operation and control, electric drives and VLSI design etc. are taught along with the basic subjects. Elaborate practical knowledge is imparted to the students in spacious laboratories. Our 300sq.M. Electrical machines lab is considered to be the best in the region. Two of our students have been ranked 3rd and 10th in AKTU merit lists
One of our final year students project titled “Sound Based Battery Charging System” was selected for Texas Instrument Innovation Challenge India Design Contest 2015 under TI University Program
