B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) deals with the study of computers and computer systems, and is one of the most important professions in the world. Computer systems have become a ubiquitous and integral part of almost everything we do today, from entertainment to medicine and more.
The real-world applications of the computer engineering course have grown exponentially over the past decade, which is why there has been a steady increase in the demand for well-trained computer science graduates.

B.Tech Electronics and Computer Engineering
The evolution and coming together of Electronics, Computing, AI/ML, and Communication technologies pervasive computing is fast becoming a proliferating reality, with Mobiles, Sensors-IoT/Embedded Systems, Desk-Tops & Back-end systems and Cloud Servers, all operating in unison to give a seamless User experience of the world at your fingertips at both the individual and enterprise levels. This seamless integration of hardware and software, is powering the world of electronic and computer-based devices. This is also at the core of Industry 4.0 based on Cyber-Physical Systems. Manufacturing is moving towards unprecedented levels of Automation, Robotics and Networking with Remote Monitoring & Control (RMCS) via Sensors and IoT. The components and the mix of foundational knowledge and the skill set required to prepare the undergraduate students for this world has also undergone a change.
The Program equips the students with the knowledge and skills in these areas, transgressing the traditional silos between Electronics and Computer Engineering studies. Along with the diverse foundational knowledge, they get an in-depth understanding of at least one technology domain. They get to practically apply these technical knowledge and skills in at least one application domains during.
During the first four semesters, students undergo foundational courses in –
- Basic sciences like Maths, Physics, & Chemistry and;
- In Electrical, Electronics, Computer science and Communications
Based on interest, potential and industry demand, students can then choose further tracks to enhance their knowledge and skills in one of the following domains:
- VLSI Design & Testing
- Smart Automated Systems
- Computer Sciences
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is amongst the most diversified and versatile engineering branch and plays an important role in all aspects of human life. A Mechanical Engineer develops products by taking an idea, developing it into a functional prototype, performing engineering analysis (structural, thermal, vibrational, static, dynamic etc.), applying manufacturing technologies & production processes for the required form and fit required to perform the intended function.
Mechanical Engineering usually covers areas such as:
- Automotive systems
- Fuels, Combustion, Internal combustion engine
- Fluid mechanics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Mechanical Engineering at BMU
Here at BMU, Mechanical engineering education aims at developing student acumen with critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop and design interesting products and systems; learn analytical tools to achieve the design and manufacturing constraints; expand understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes to develop products; build collaboration and communication skills with teamwork to bring ideas and products to market. This holistic learning enables students to become well-rounded professionals and entrepreneurs for management and leadership roles in the industry and society in their career journey.
The students work on hardware and software technologies available in well-equipped labs and workshops to provide integrated learning with theory and concepts. Given the focus on project-based research-led learning and solving real-world problems, students get hands-on experience in the application of concepts of mechanical engineering to solve a variety of problems and create interesting products and applications.
An all-round approach to hone their problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills equips students with the knowledge and confidence to excel in any industry.
The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering course offered at BML Munjal University is designed to equip students with a unique blend of skill sets in addition to the core engineering knowledge and skills. These unique skills include:

- Predominantly practice-oriented approach with access to well-equipped and specialized laboratories, and supervised internship via the Practice School

B.Tech Engineering Science
BML Munjal University [BMU] has been at the forefront of imparting quality higher education in the field of science, engineering, technology, and management since its inception and has introduced flexible and innovative curriculum in higher education. Within a short span of time, it has developed its School of Engineering and Technology with world class infrastructure, global international linkages with academic universities and technology partners, highly qualified and experienced faculty from international and Indian institutes and a strong technology and industry orientation for all its programs.
Having recognized the need to develop professionals with strong foundations in science, mathematics and engineering, School of Engineering and Technology at BMU now proposes to launch a unique B. Tech. Engineering Science program. In terms of basic structure, for the first four semesters, students are taught courses in basic sciences like Maths, Physics, Chemistry and different engineering disciplines to develop strong fundamentals for their future specializations. Based on their interest and market demand, at the end of the third semester, students are to choose their specialization to enhance their knowledge and skills in selected specialization. They will choose a specialization in one of the following domains: Environmental Science, Geospatial Science, Materials Science, and Nano Science.
Proposed program for B. Tech. in Engineering Science is developed in line with the philosophy and structure of 2019-20 B. Tech. degree programs offered by SoET BMU.
The BBA- MBA integrated programme at School of Management, BML Munjal University, offers a practical understanding of business and prepares studentsfor long and fulfilling careers. Co-designed with academic mentor – Imperial CollegeLondon’s Business School, BMU’s innovative integrated programme offers a new and transformative approachto business education. Graduates will be equipped with multi-disciplinary skills and knowledge, approach to diverse businesses – both big and small, informationtechnology and management problems with an experiential learning approach.
