MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1991 with an intake of 60 students which later incremented to 120 students in the year 2009. The department has developed more than 2000 market ready mechanical graduates and received over 46 lakhs sponsorships in various research and innovation activities. The faculty members are having vast experience in their field and have succeeded in keeping a lively atmosphere among the students, with timely up gradations in the curriculum and innovative teaching techniques. Many of the students are well-placed in reputed organizations like Mahindra & Mahindra, TATA Motors, Atlas Copco, Dassult systems etc. Others are pursuing M.Tech., MBA and MS courses in India & abroad. In today's fast-changing world, the ever-growing challenges of limited resources, rapid climate changes and preservation of environment demand a new generation of mechanical engineers cultivated with the necessary skills and innovative spirit.
At the Department of Mechanical Engineering, we are committed to achieve excellence in training not only competent manpower for the profession, but in nurturing engineer-leaders with the ingenuity and drive to provide innovative and bold solutions to these global challenges. The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been consistently working towards the goal to produce highly skilled and scientifically oriented manpower through flexible, adaptive and progressive training programs and a cohesive interaction among the research organizations, academicians and industries. To current date PVGCOET’s Mechanical Dept accords for state of art equipment and faculties perused from reputed National Institutes. faculty of the Department are committed to provide interactive and innovative teaching to transform students into competent engineering professionals having good ethical, social and human values
Electronic engineering institutes
The Department of Electrical Engineering aims to impart quality education for developing Electrical Engineers to cater the needs of society and mankind. The department observes ethical practices in teaching-learning and research. It has sustained endeavors to groom and nurture students for employability and overall development.
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
The department of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering established in the year 1991 with undergraduate course. The Department has sanctioned intake of 60 students in 1996 and it increased to 90 in 2008. And now since 2009, it has intake of 120 students. It has qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching staff. Department emphasizes on effective teaching learning process with excellent teaching learning environment. There are total 21 Teaching Staff and 5 non Teaching staff. Department has 9 well equipped laboratories, with hardware, software and internet facility in each laboratory as per the requirements of SPPU and AICTE
