The Department of Engineering Sciences (First Year) has been established in 2011. Basic aim of the department is to provide solid foundation and understanding of the fundamental principles of mathematics, science and engineering with opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary teams and to develop and practice skills in all basic branches of engineering.
The Department of Engineering Sciences (First Year) has 9 well equipped labs with required for curriculum development. Department also conducts various seminars and workshops for students and staff.
Qualified and committed faculties members are the real strength of the department. Apart from good technical and teaching skills faculty members have published technical papers in various national and international conferences/ journals and also attended workshops to improve technical expertise. Self-motivated and patient faculty members always help and motivate the students.

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication (E&TC)
Over the past two decades, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering has played a pivotal role in improving quality of human life and also contributed to the economic growth of our nation and the world at large. The main aim of the Department is to impart strong theoretical and practical knowledge in the domains of basic electronics as well as advanced fields of Nanotechnology and Automotive Electronics. There are ample learning opportunities in broad areas of communication ranging from classical fields of Satellite, Wireless, and Optical Data Communication to the latest field of Unified Communication which are provided through well-equipped labs and facilities.
The Department supports in-house development of kits and we take utmost care that students get more hands-on with self-design and implementation of circuits and projects. Our Analog Communication lab, Embedded and Electrical labs are currently equipped with our own designed kits. The Department is equipped with a variety of antennas with testing and measurement system facilitating research activities. The Department encourages students to carry out innovative research to match the needs of the technical education system, the industry and our society.
The Department has well-qualified faculty members with rich academic experience who have made significant contributions in various fields and have published research papers in reputed journals, international and national conferences. We encourage participation of students in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities as well.
Computer engineering institutes
Computer Engineering is one of the most flourishing disciplines in recent times. With increased demand among recruiters, this domain has become the preferred line of study among students as well. The department was launched keeping in view the dynamic nature of the IT industry and the ever increasing demand for quality and well-trained IT professionals.
At our department we seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the IT industry. The Department of Computer Engineering is one of the core departments I²IT and it offers a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering. Currently the Department has an intake of 60students for its undergraduate course. Depending on his/her interest a student, can choose to pursue research, development, design, production, application, testing or management in the Information Technology industry. Some students also choose to continue their higher studies like MS, M.Tech, MBA.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure, experienced teaching faculty faculty members and sufficiently supportive team members ensure that students can be assured of quality education. Regular interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a the Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future for students.
