BASIC DJ COURSES

This is level one of the DJ training course, which tackles the fundamentals of mixing from the grass root level, i.e. Setting up a DJ Console, wiring and understanding speakers followed by most important concepts of bars, beats, harmonics and their relevance in creating a seamless transition of your favorite sounds.

The course will also delve into different music genres and mixing types to help you adapt to any possible situation in a club atmosphere. The final outcome of the course is for you to create your own mix tape and cast your sonic identity through Sound cloud/ Mix cloud and navigate your way through the industry. Ten hours of practice also provided apart from the regular classes

ADVANCED DJ COURSE

Advanced DJ training deals with beginner to advanced techniques and mixing routines on turntables, CD players and performing on digital platforms such as rekordbox, traktor and using the mixer for creative effects. The course takes an in-depth understanding of rekordbox and traktor, which have become absolutely monumental software’s in the art of DJing. This course includes unlimited practice time and use of studio gear for your development.

NOTE: For practicing on turntables you will be required to carry our own stylus (needles)

ELECTRONIC MUSIC PRODUCTION & ABLETON ADVANCED COURSE

This course entails understanding the software, using the same to externalize your internal ideas, creating supporting grooves that work on the dance floor, recording and creating your own samples, sound design with the native soft synths while creating your own unique sonic imprint using the DAW to best express yourself musically. A background in music or the software is not required prior to the course, since the same covers the DAW, starting from the most basic concepts and usability of the same. This course will help you understand the functioning of a D.A.W (Digital audio workstation) and music production. Learn to make beats, produce original tracks and remix, understand the concept of sound and instruments.
