KKR’s Approach to Private Equity in EMEA
At KKR we are particularly proud of our global, integrated approach. We operate as one firm, leveraging all of our businesses and partnering across the firm on behalf of our fund investors and the companies in which we invest. KKR’s Private Equity platform invests in and partners with industry-leading franchises and companies poised for significant improvement or growth that attract high-quality management teams. Moreover, we are disciplined investors, focusing on long-term business fundamentals.
Working Together
We look to partner closely and cooperatively with management teams and
entrepreneurs that have track records of success. We believe that the
combination of our industry knowledge, investment experience, and
operational expertise provides KKR with an edge in identifying and
creating value in investment opportunities. Our strategy is not only to
work as partners with the management of our portfolio companies, but
also to assist in the operations of our businesses and leverage all of
the resources of our global platform.
KKR's Health Care
KKR's Health Care Strategic Growth strategy leverages KKR's deep health
care expertise, sector relationships, track record of scaling companies,
and extensive portfolio to identify and invest in businesses with
innovative products or services and high-quality management teams. The
strategy draws on the full set of capabilities of KKR's Health Care
investment team and the broader KKR platform to help these
businesses thrive and grow. We target opportunities in the Americas
across various health care sub-sectors, including biopharmaceuticals,
medical devices, diagnostics ⁄ life science tools, providers, HCIT ⁄
informatics, and other services. Health Care Strategic Growth
investments are opportunities in which KKR believes that we can help
commercialize or further scale the underlying product(s) or service(s).
We seek situations characterized by large potential markets and unmet
needs and invest with a flexible approach, including minority and
majority stakes, through which we can provide sufficient capital to
allow companies to grow over time.
